Question 1

What is VYOMIRA?

Accepted Answer

VYOMIRA is a Vedic astrology (Jyotish) web app by Cloudisoft. It calculates your Janam Kundli from real astronomical positions for your exact birth time and place, explains your life chapters in plain language (past, present, future and what you can do), and offers AURA — an AI astrologer that shows the chart factors behind every answer.

Question 2

Is the Kundli really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your full Vedic birth chart — D1, Navamsa (D9) and Dashamsa (D10), planetary positions, nakshatras, Vimshottari dasha timeline, daily insights and your Life Guide — is free forever. You only pay if you want to ask AURA questions: packs start at ₹199 for 10 messages, or monthly plans from ₹349.

Question 3

How is VYOMIRA different from other astrology apps?

Accepted Answer

Three things: every calculation is shown (and tested against Swiss Ephemeris reference data), every AI answer lists the chart factors it used, and guidance is written in plain language without fear-based predictions or gemstone upsells.

Question 4

Which languages does VYOMIRA support?

Accepted Answer

English, Hindi (हिन्दी) and Hinglish. AURA answers and PDF reports are available in Hindi.

Question 5

Is VYOMIRA's chart calculation accurate?

Accepted Answer

Planetary positions are computed with an astronomical ephemeris (Astronomy Engine) and converted to the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa. Our automated tests compare every planet, the ascendant and the ayanamsa against an independent Swiss Ephemeris reference for 16 charts from 1868 to 2030 across both hemispheres; agreement is typically within a few arcseconds. Accuracy of the chart also depends on the accuracy of your birth time and place.

Question 6

Can astrology predict my future?

Accepted Answer

No one can honestly promise that. Vedic astrology is a traditional interpretive system; we present its readings as traditional interpretations and reflection prompts, not as scientifically established predictions. We never forecast death, illness, pregnancy or financial outcomes, and we don't sell gemstones or fear-based remedies.

Question 7

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Accepted Answer

Choose 'approximate' or 'unknown' during onboarding. With an approximate time we check whether your rising sign could change within the uncertainty window and withhold house-based readings if it can. With an unknown time we never show an ascendant; houses are counted from the Moon instead, and dasha dates are marked as indicative.

Question 8

Which ayanamsa and house system do you use?

Accepted Answer

Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa — India's official standard — and whole-sign houses from the Lagna, with mean lunar nodes for Rahu and Ketu. Every chart records its exact calculation version so results are reproducible.

Question 9

How does AURA avoid making things up?

Accepted Answer

AURA never sees your raw data — only a compact evidence package of computed placements, dashas, transits and rule interpretations. After it writes an answer, a validator checks every planet–sign, planet–house, nakshatra, yoga, dasha and year it mentions against your chart. Anything unsupported is rejected, and you receive a rule-engine answer instead.

Question 10

Do I have to share my birth data with an AI provider?

Accepted Answer

Only if you choose to. AI processing is a separate, explicit consent you can withdraw in Settings at any time. Without it, AURA answers using VYOMIRA's rule engine alone.

Question 11

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Your full Kundli, planetary positions, Navamsa, Dashamsa and Vimshottari timeline are free, along with one AURA question. Starter (₹199) adds 10 AURA messages; Cosmic Plus (₹599) adds 25 messages, every detailed report and PDF downloads, and priority generation with a deeper model. Prefer monthly? Explorer (₹349/month, 50 messages) and Cosmic Plus Monthly (₹649/month, 120 messages plus every report) renew automatically via UPI Autopay or card mandate, with notice before each charge, and can be cancelled anytime. Payments are processed securely by PayU in Indian rupees.

Question 12

Do you offer Ashtakavarga, Shadbala, Guna Milan and Western charts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your Kundli includes all 16 Parashari divisional charts (D1–D60), Ashtakavarga, Shadbala, mean and true lunar nodes, and a Western tropical chart with Placidus houses. Compatibility uses the full 36-point Ashtakoota Guna Milan. Each is regression-tested against independent references, and wherever traditions differ we say which convention we follow.

Question 13

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From Settings you can export everything we hold about you as JSON, or permanently delete your account, birth profiles, charts, conversations and reports.

Question 14

Is this a substitute for professional advice?

Accepted Answer

No. Please consult a qualified doctor, lawyer, counsellor or financial adviser for those matters. If you're going through a crisis, contact Tele-MANAS on 14416 (India) or your local emergency number.
